Okay, so the hubby has been beta-reading for me, or rather he’s been beta-listening. The man’s kind of addicted to Audible, so he likes to turn on Word’s Read Aloud as he goes through the manuscript. I grumble about this because I hate the droid voice, and it’s just weird to hear my stuff read out loud, but I gotta admit the tool has been really helpful for editing purposes. I can hear all the grammatical errors and missed or duplicated words that my eyes have gone blind to after reading this thing over and over.
